This work examines the life of David, the biblical second king of Israel and warrior hero who defeated the giant Goliath. In uniform morocco bindings with gilt stamping to spines and board edges. Externally, generally smart with small patches of rubbing to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. Small loss to the spine label of volume I. Internally, both volumes are firmly bound. It would appear page prior to the first text page of volume I has neatly been removed, page was possibly a blank.
