George Montague Ellwood, 1875 1955, was a designer and interior decorator. Ellwood studied at Camden School of Art and later in Paris, Berlin, Dresden and Vienna. From 1916 to 1924 he was an editor for the journal 'Drawing and Design&apos. He lived in London and exhibited at a number of venues between 1899 and 1915, including four times at the Royal Academy. Bound in quarter-cloth, with paper-covered boards and gilt lettering.There is some mild wear to the extremities, including some bumping, and discolouration to the spine. Internally the pages are clean and bright. There is some cockling to the first ten pages, and evidence of a past small label on the title page. The binding is firm. Very Good . Ill.: None.
