Bergman was the first chemist to use the A, B, C, etc. system of notation for chemical species. With five fold-out plates and tables to volume one, including a Synoptical Table, and two fold-out plates to volume two. Collated and Complete. Scarce. Re-bound in quarter-calf bindings. Externally very smart with some shelfwear only. Internally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages throughout - minor browning due to age, with some tidemarks to the rear of volume 2.
