In a full calf binding. Externally, generally smart. Bumping to the extremities. Light rubbing to the extremities and to the joints. Further rubbing to the head and tail of spine. Front hinge is slightly strained but firm. Rear hinge is also slightly strained but firm. Prior owner's shelf label to the recto of front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Slight offsetting from frontispiece to title page. Prior owner's pencil inscription to title page and to margins throughout. Light spots to the endpapers and odd spots. Very Good . Ill.: None.
