Written by Giovanni Boccaccio, an Italian writer, poet, and Renaissance humanist who was a known correspondent of Petrarch. Translated by James Macmullen Rigg, a British barrister, legal scholar, and translator. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original price-clipped dust wrappers are very smart with minor wear and light chipping to the extremities. Light sunning to the spines. Internally, firmly bound.
