A wonderfully illustrated annual, written at a time when poetic annuals were very popular among the middle class, most particularly with women.This annual looks at the continent, and contains poems on travelling. Illustrated by British watercolourist, Samuel Prout, with a frontispiece, vignette title page, and eleven plates. Collated, complete. Edited by William Kennedy.Bound by Remnant & Edmonds in full morocco, with a binders blindstamp to the rear endpaper. Bound by Remnant & Edmonds in full morocco. Externally, very good, with light rubbing to the extremities and joints. A little fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound.
