The first edition of this very scarce.A faithful report of an 1841 trial between Murdo Mackenzie, Duncan Davidson, and Donald Macdonald. The trial regarded the Bay of Gruinard, and who held the right of salmon fishing.The pursuer, Mackenzie, owned part of the Bay, from Greenstone Point to the point of Stataig. The trial undertook to discover if any of the defenders wrongfully fished for salmon in that bay between 1835 and 1836. The trial took place across three days on the 23rd, 24th, and 26th July 1841. In a quarter morocco binding with paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart, with light marks and rubbing to the boards and spine. Light bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound.
