In a full morocco binding, with decorative gilt. Externally, with rubbing to the extremities. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting to the page facing the frontispiece and scattered spotting and offsetting to the plates leaves, not affecting overall quality of the illustrations themselves.
