Title: The World Crisis 1911-1918

Volume two is illustrated with one facsimile plate and seven maps, five of which are folding. Collated complete. An account of the First World War, The World Crisis is analytical and, in some parts, a justification by Churchill of his role in the war. Written by Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill, a British statesman, military officer, and writer who twice served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Bound in full blue cloth. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spines with the odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with tide marks to the first few pages of each volume, pages lightly cockled . The odd small spot and light age toning to the endpapers. Good . Ill.: Not Stated. Good .
