As Phiz, he illustrated many of Dickens' novels, including 'David Copperfield', 'Dombey and Son', and 'Bleak House', as well as illustrating for 'Punch' throughout his life. In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart, a little rubbed. Tear to the head of the rear joint. Dampstain to the joints. A small amount of loss to the head of the spine. Hinges are a little strained but remain firm. Bookplate to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with scattered spots.
