A very scarce parliamentary report of all those returned to the House of Commons, carried out by Conservative politician Frederick Dixon-Hartland. A very scarce report detailing the names of every Member of Parliament returned to serve in each Parliament until the end of 1885. Carried out by Frederick Dixon-Hartland, an antiquary, banker and Conservative politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1881-1909. This report details the members' names, date of return and their county/city/University/borough or place. Report's string binding is tender, but holding leaves together. Report held within a tan folder. Externally, folder is very smart, with ink inscriptions stating 'Personal Correspondence 1901/2 and 19051/2' to the front cover. With a couple marks to the extremities and minor edge wear. Internally, binding lacking one of the string attachments, however leaves remain generally firmly bound with the exception of the first leaf, which is disbound, but present. Report's pages are age toned, with chipping and edge wear to the front and rear leaves. Pages are clean throughout contents, with only a couple marks to the front cover. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
