Bound in half calf with paper-covered boards, with the gilt monogram of W. Allard. A biographical work and collection of speeches from Lord Randolph Churchill, Conservative M.P for Woodstock and chairman of the National Union of Conservative Associations. Notably, Lord Randolph was the father of Winston Churchill. Containing speeches given between 1874 and 1884. Edited by Frank Banfield. With a bookplate loosely inserted stating the book was part of the collection of Steve Forbes, an American publishing executive and politician, known for being the editor-in-chief of Forbes Magazine. Bound in half calf with paper-covered boards. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing to the extremities and joints. Joints are cracked, heavier to the front. Front hinge is tender. Light spotting to endpapers and fore edge, with a stamp to the rear paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
