Notably, Dieffenbach was one of the first Europeans to visit the Rotomahana area in New Zealand. Lacking the very scarce four pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear of Volume II, as is typical with this work. Bound in a contemporary half calf, by Craft Bookbinding.
