With a three-paged typed diary entry, extracted from Victor Munckton's diary in 1917, recounting his time as an officer with the Skinners Horse, alongside a photograph for the Marri Rebellion, 1918, alongside a pencil note from a prior owner to the recto of the front endpaper: "See p156, My father was in this battle - I have some photographs of some of the officers taken at Gombaz - also a diary that Daddy left of the battle". In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with very light rubbing. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Spine is faded. Spots to the fore edge. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean, with scattered spots, mostly to the first and last few pages.
