In the publisher's original decorative cloth. Illustrated with ten monochrome plates by M. Zeno Diemer and a coloured folding map. Collated, complete. This children's novel is an adaptation of Grettir's Saga or The Saga of Grettir the Strong, one of the Icelander's sagas (written down in the 13th and 14th centuries) which details the life of Grettir Asmundarson, an Icelandic outlaw, and is set in the 11th-century.
