A set of two poetry anthologies published for the 'Aldine Edition of the British Poets&apos. Uniformly bound in full tan calf. Includes the poetry of English nobleman and politician, Henry Howard, Earl of Surrey and politician and ambassador, Sir Thomas Wyatt. With a portrait frontispiece to both volumes. Howard's volume includes poems such as 'Complaint of a Lover rebuked', 'To his Mistress' and 'The constant Lover lamenteth&apos. Wyatt's volume includes poems such as 'Of Fortune, Love, and Fantasy', 'Of change in Mind' and 'Complaint for true Love unrequited', among others. Uniformly bound in full tan calf. Externally, smart, with fading to the spines and slight rubbing to the extremities. Marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with a few scattered spots to the first and last few leaves. Offsetting to the title page of 'Henry Howard', caused by frontispiece. Very Good . Ill.: None.
