Inglis was a civil engineer who worked on viaducts built by Brunel. In the original paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart, a little rubbed with light marks. Light bumping and loss of paper to the extremities. Crack to the tail of the front joint. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Bookplate and stamp to the front paste down, pencil inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with scattered spots.
