Illustrated with twenty vignettes located in the 'Instruction' chapter, informing the reader on how to filet various forms of meat and fish.With the ink inscription of Mr. L. Leeston, 1858. Bound in the publisher's pictorial boards, rebacked and with the spine laid down. Externally, sound, with rubbing and slight chipping to the extremities. Marking to boards and discolouration to the spine. Joints are lightly cracked with hinges slightly strained, but holding firm. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Endpapers renewed, half title retained. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with light scattered spotting. Small tide marks to the extremities of the first few pages, not affecting text.
