The colony of Natal covers the area now known as the KwaZulu-Natal province, with the region being combined with three other colonies to form part of the Union of South Africa in 1910. Written by William C. Holden, a British reverend who moved to the Cape Colony in 1839, known for being a pioneer of Methodism in Natal and delivering sermons within the community.With one page of publisher's advertisements to the rear.
