The autobiography of Leopold Charles Maurice Stennett Amery, also known as L. S. Amery, was a British Conservative Party politician and journalist. He was Secretary of State for the Colonies and served as Secretary of State for India during the Second World War. Amery was also a prolific writer whose output included a multi-volume history of the Second Boer War alongside diaries and memoirs. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original price-clipped dust wrappers are smart with light wear and the odd small closed tear to the panel edges. Light sunning to the spine with the odd small mark.
