Very scarce work. Illustrated throughout with nineteen plates. Collated complete. A catalogue of the important collection of Japanese works of art formed by the late Harry Seymour-Trower, an English art collector specialising in Japanese art and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Navy League. To be sold by the Glendining & Co. auction firm specialising in coins, antiquities and ethnographic material. Founded by a medal collector Douglas William Glendining. The auction took place from March 31st to April 7th in the year 1913. Bound in modern quarter cloth with paper covered boards. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities and minor fading to the spine. Original front wrap bound in. Internally, disbound with pages held by cords and the odd loose page inserted correctly. Pages are very bright with the odd spot or small handling mark. Good Only . Ill.: Not Stated. Good Only .
