Full bound in the original publisher's paper wraps with gilt titles. Richly illustrated, with colour photographs of the various dishes taken by the Mauritian photographer Christian Bossu-Picat appearing as vignettes throughout the text. With the original clipped dust wrapper.This is a delightful collection of 124 Seychellois recipes which includes instructions for preparing favourites such as Kitouze Curry with Aubergines, Salted Fish Rougaille, Coconut Chutney, and Moutai. It also features a two-page spread of illustrated descriptions identifying some utensils typically used in the preparation of Seychellois cuisine, and a colour map of the Seychelles with a brief summary of the country's history and geography. Full bound in the original publisher's paper wraps, with the original clipped dust wrapper. Externally, attractive with just slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Wrapper is sound with edgewear including some small closed tears, as well as two archival tape repairs to the reverse. Internally, firmly bound with lovely, bright, clean pages. Fine .
