Light marks to the cloth. Minor bumping and fading to the head and tail of the spine. Front hinge is starting but firm. Gift inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Dust wrapper is edge worn, with small chips and closed tears, chips heavier to the head and tail of the spine, and with a closed tear to the spine. Wraps are a touch age-toned. Small ink line to the fear fly leaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with scattered spots. The occasional ink line to the margins. Very Good . Ill.: Romilly Fedden.
