With the original illustrated covers present, which can still hold the internally bound booklet.With numerous tipped-in monochrome plates, including a photograph of Her Majesty Queen Mary signing the visitor's book and images of the various grand rooms. This charming history of the Bath Assembly Rooms was produced to commemorate the re-opening by Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Kent on October 19th 1938, before the building suffered severe bomb damage in 1942. Disbound. With the original illustrated covers present. Externally, with rubbing and creasing to the covers, and a a small chip to one of the corners. With a couple closed tears and marks.
