Queen Mary's psalter was actually produced centuries prior to her birth, possibly for Isabella of France (1295-1358), Queen of England and consort of Edward II. The was was produced in England, perhaps in London or East Anglia, circa 1310/20, by a single artist now known only as the 'Queen Mary Master.&apos.Illustrated with 316 collotype plates. Collated, complete. In a half morocco binding, with cloth covered boards. A touch of rubbing to back strip head and tail and to joints, otherwise externally excellent. Internally, firmly bound.
