Written by William Wilkie Collins, an English novelist and playwright. Illustrated by George du Maurier, a Franco-British cartoonist and writer known for work in Punch, and Francis Arthur Fraser, a prolific Scottish illustrator known for his work on the novels of Charles Dickens and Mark Twain. Bound in half morocco with marbled boards. Externally, sound with rubbing to the extremities and light fading to the spine. The odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound.
