His work, being anti-capitalist and radical, was often controversial, dealing with social issues and reforms, issues such as poverty and inequality, and war; at the outbreak of the First World War Dyson's cartoon were withering portrayals of German militarism. Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the University of Oxford Libraries. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, generally smart. Light marks to the wraps, a little heavier to the rear. Minor edge wear. Prior owner's pencil inscription to the head of the front wrap. Mark to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound.
