With twelve pages of advertisements to the rear.The 1857 thirty-fifth thousandth of 'Mr. Verdant Green, Married and Done For', published in the same year as the first edition. With ten pages of advertisements to the start of the work.Illustrated throughout with charming vignettes from the author himself. Rebound in cloth, with the publisher's original front and rear wraps bound in. Externally, excellent. Rear hinge of volume III strained but firmly held. Front free endpaper of volumes I and III tenderly held. Internally, firmly bound. Publisher's original wraps significantly age toned and with handling marks.
