This work brings together a collection of essays which both bear the mark of Grahame's deft style and reveal some of the initial ideas that would come to fruition in The Wind in the Willows. In the original publisher's binding with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent with a touch of bumping to the head of the spine. Light offsetting to the pastedowns and end papers. Wrapper is likewise excellent, just a trifle sunned at its front top edge.
