He dedicated this work to his two young daughters, Harriet and Polly.Collated, bound without ten plates. In the original publisher's cloth binding, rebacked. Externally, cloth is rubbed. Dampstain to the rear board. Lifting to the rear joint. Light marks to the cloth. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Hinges are starting but firm. Loss to the front paste down. Tidemark to the paste downs and endpapers, heavier to the rear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with scattered spots. Pencil to the title page, and to the verso of the final leaf. Tape repairs to the reverse of the plate facing page 12, and to page 47/48. Good Only . Ill.: Charles Bennett. Good Only .
