Written by Henry James Catling Clabburn, a British author who changed his name legally to James Blyth in 1898. A fairly prolific producer of popular fiction, he is best remembered in the science fiction field for his Future War novels. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities resulting in light fraying. Fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. A split in the cloth to the front joint with a small split to the tail of the spine. Small puncture marks to the rear board. Front hinge just starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound.
