In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart. Gilt remains bright. Light shelf wear to the joints and extremities and minor fading to the majority of volumes. Faint marks to the rear board of "Homeward Bound" and "Two Admirals", and to the front board of "Heidenmauer". Small tear to the backstrip of "Lionel Lincoln". Hinges slightly strained to "Bravo", "Pilot", "Mercedes of Castile" and "Lionel Lincoln", but remaining firmly held. Rear hinge strained to "Ways of the Hour", "Two Admirals", and "Water-Witch" but remaining firmly held. Hinges are starting to "Redskins" but remain firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, though many remain unopened. Scattered spots to the fore edge and to the first and last few pages of "Bravo", "Chainbearer", "Deerslayer", "Pathfinder", "Jack Tier", "Water-Witch", "Homeward Bound" and "Lionel Lincoln". Marginal age toning to the pages of "Redskins", "Pilot", "Mercedes of Castile", "Satanstoe", "Home as Found" and "Oak Openings". Tide mark to the bottom of the rear paste down and rear free end paper of "Satanstoe", and to the top of the first several pages of "Home as Found". Very Good . Ill.: Not Stated. Very Good .
