Griffiths spent ten years as a merchant seaman, and is also a writer of maritime history. The Stones Remember is a collection of 26 poems which focus on a range a subjects, including British birds, sites in Wales, and love. In the original publisher's cloth binding with the original unclipped dust wrapper and Brodart cover. Externally, very attractive with just a touch of fading to cloth at the top edge, head, and tail of the spine. Slight bumping to the spine's head and tail and the extremities. With author's inscription and signature to front first free endpaper. Wrap has a minor closed tear to the front top edge and there are some very light marks to the wrap's rear reverse.
