This large, illustrated edition of the Holy Bible is bound in full crushed morocco, and fitted with a functioning brass clasp that can secure the work. Illustrated throughout with a total of twenty engraved plates. With the Family Register section partly filled out with contemporary ink inscriptions, stating a series of names and birth dates of the Keeler family. Containing the Old and New Testaments. In full crushed morocco, with decorative black stamps. With a functioning brass hinge attachment. Externally, generally smart. With wear to the extremities, resulting in rubbing to the leather. Slight tarnishing to the brass. Front hinge failed. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with occasional scattered spots, majority of which to the surrounding areas of the plates. Illustrations themselves remain largely unaffected.
