The author (preface is credited D.F.H) fondly recounts her personality, school memories and includes charming extracts from her diary. Illustrated two coloured plates and numerous monochrome plates containing photographs and illustrations. With a tipped in card, printed with 'From R.H.H and D.F.H&apos. In the original quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart. With slight bumping to the extremities and darkening to the cloth. Marks to the boards.
