Illustrated by Hablot Knight Browne, known by his pen name "Phiz", an English illustrator who contributed his work to ten of Charles Dickens' books, including 'Bleak House', and 'Dombey and Son&apos. A somewhat autobiographical novel, Dickens's celebrated bildungsroman follows the eponymous character from infancy to maturity. Claimed by Dickens to be his own favourite amongst his works, it marked a turning point in his oeuvre, separating his novels of youth and those of maturity. Bound without half title.
