With the original card wraps bound in. With eight folding plates. Founded in 1853, the Science and Art Department was a British government body which promoted education in art, science, technology, and design in Britain and Ireland. It functioned up until 1899. Containing reports on the progress of the department, with information on the results for examinations, a measure of the success and failure, of the board of visitors of the science and art museum, and more. With various appendixes. Previously held in the Board of Education Reference Library. In the original half calf with cloth boards, with the original card wraps bound in. Externally, sound with rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Light loss to the head of the spine. Board of Education Reference Library sticker to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Board of Education Library stamp to the title page. Good .
