A collection of lectures on the criticism and interpretation of the doctrines of the Bible, with reference to determining the genuine text, philological remarks, man's moral condition, the doctrine of atonement, and trinity as ascribed to Plato, amongst other subjects. Delivered at Bristol College in the Years 1832 and 1833. Written by William Daniel Conybeare, Dean of Llandaff, was an English geologist, palaeontologist and clergyman. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Light spotting to the first and last few pages with the odd crease to the page edge. Contemporary ink inscription to the front pastedown. Good . Ill.: None.
