Derived from a manuscript in the British Museum. In the publisher's unclipped dust wrapper. A collection of four hundred passages compiled by a teacher of grammar at Magdalen School, Oxford in the last years of the fifteenth century. They were served as a supply of exercises for his students to translate into the Latin. The English of this schoolbook is transcribed in full, together with a sample of the Latin to the rear.  In the original cloth binding. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent with shelf wear only. Dust wrapper is very smart, with light edge wear and sunning to the spine. With marks to the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting and spots to the endpapers. Near Fine . Ill.: None. Near Fine/Very Good Indeed.
