Thus this copy lacks the title page, *ii, *v, N5, N6, gathering 3B, and the final leaf of the index. Leaf with the portrait, *iiiiii, is bound before lead *iii. Rebound in a calf binding. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing. Spine is a little faded, with light fading to the head of the boards. Light marks to the boards and spine. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age-toned with the occasional spot and handling marks. Textblock is a little edge worn, heavier the first and last few pages, with small chips.
