Drachmann was known for his novels and poetry celebrating the lives of fishermen and sailors.Published by Way & Williams, a Chicago-based company, known as a key publisher within the Arts and Craft movement. Despite only remaining in business for three years, from 1895 to 1898, and only publishing sixty-six books, Way & Williams produced a number of visually impressive titles from some of the most prominent artists and designers of the time. Bound in the publisher's original cloth, decorated with a celtic gilt pattern to the front cover. Bound in the publisher's original cloth. Externally, very good, with light bumping to the extremities and light marking to the cloth. Ink inscription to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound.
