The collection includes; 'The Peninsular War', 'Waterloo', 'Sir John Franklin', and more. Dixon was an English poet and divine, with this being the author's second published work, having published 'Christ's Company', in 1861. In the publisher's original cloth with the original glassine dust wrapper. Externally excellent with slight fading to the spine label. Offsetting to the endpapers. The wrap is very smart with sunning to the spine, a closed tear to the head of the spine and the odd minor chip to the extremities.
