This highly illustrated work presents a history of interior design in London, depicting the grandeur of buildings including Buckingham Palace, St. James's Palace, Westminster Hall, the British Museum, St. Pauls Cathedral, and many more. Illustrated with sixty-two plates, a frontispiece and an engraved title page.Bound without the title page to Volume II. Bound in full black calf with gilt tooling. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing to joints and extremities. Light marking to boards. Hinges are a little strained, but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound.
