The work contains thirty-six small, numbered slots, each of which has an assigned figure to be placed. Complete with all thirty-six paper figures present and inserted into their assigned slots. The rear board serves as an envelope to store the figures. Published by Raphael Tuck and Sons, who published a number of panoramic scenes, many of which are vanishingly scarce. With a stamp of Megan and Michael Dawson and an ink inscription 'To Michael with love from Nanna Oswell' to the rear board. Bound in the publisher's original pictorial wraps. Externally, smart, with light rubbing to the extremities and the odd makr or small chip. Bookplate and ink inscription to the rear. Tape and label residue to the rear board, holding the envelope in place. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Figures are in very good condition, with the occasional crease.
