Wonderfully illustrated with a frontispiece, four coloured plates and seven double-page pop-ups, including an exceptionally bright peacock. Collated, complete. Bound in the publisher's original cloth-backed pictorial wraps. Externally, sound with rubbing to the extremities and joints, causing a little loss to paper to the spine. Light marking to cover, with scattered spots, more visible to the rear. Internally, firmly bound, a little strained after contents page. Pages are generally bright, with scattered spotting. Ink inscriptions and colouring-in of illustrations from previous owner, including gift inscriptions to page 4 and 5. Final pop-up is a little torn and in need of repair. Good . Ill.: Not Stated.
