One of his short stories, 'Supertoys Last All Summer Long', was the basis for the Stanley Kubrick - Steven Spielberg 2001 film 'A. I. Artificial Intelligence&apos. He was part of the British New Wave of sci-fi, and was greatly influenced by H. G. Wells.This anthology includes 'Found', 'When We Were Four', 'With Vacant Possessions', 'The Frozen Boy', 'Lost', 'The Commitment', 'The Child Departs: a dialogue', 'The Eternal Child', 'The Haunting', and 'The Malediction&apos.
