Written by Jane Ellen Harrison, a British classical scholar and linguist. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. The odd small split in the cloth to the head and tail of the spine with a 0.5" split to the rear joint. Hinges starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound with front endpapers and frontispiece detached but present. Pages are very bright with the odd spot.
