In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Light marks to the cloth. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Front endpaper is working loose. Author's inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, binding is strained in places, the textblock is working loose from the binding, and the title page is detached but present.
