To the centre of each board is a ducal crest with a dragon to the centre, and with a ducal coronet to the head.With marbled paper to the front and rear pastedown, and with front and rear free endpapers - also marbled - loosely inserted. With extensive ink notations to the verso of the front free endpaper.An attractive decorative binding. A full calf binding, with extensive gilt detailing and blind tooling to boards. Light scorch marks to head and tail of front board. Minor worming to back strip in three locations. Small loss of leather to back strip tail. Bumps to board perimeters. Ink mark to rear pastedown.
