In fact, the publisher of this edition, Frederick Warne, published Afternoon Tea: A Book of New Rhymes for Children within weeks of Under the Window's original release in 1879, which Greenaway regarded as "blatant piracy".  In the original illustrated boards. Externally, smart with rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. A few marks and discolouration to the boards. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
